Highly recommend! The staff was so incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the booking process, they made everything so easy! We booked an apartment, which is a couple blocks away from the main building, but the service was just as amazing from the moment we arrived. It was our first time in Rome and the team here made it a breeze. Amazing location! Will definitely be returning if we are in the area again!
This hotel is a scam. I sincerely do not understand what are they charging so much for in this hotel. It hardly could be compared even to a three-star hotel by the quality of service. We arrived to the hotel close to midnight and were “welcomed” by a very rude person at the reception desk. The person was very impolite and not willing to help us to obtain the service that we paid for. First of all, do not expect that AC is working properly in your room. We were told by the receptionist, that there is only possibility to make it either very hot or chilling cold. We weren’t able to adjust temperature in our rooms, so we had to stay in freezer-like conditions (it was 18, when outside it was 26 in the evening). Then comes the next problem. There is no noise isolation in rooms. You can hear what is going on in other rooms, in the hall and what is the worst - outside. “Nice bonus” to windows with no soundproofing is that hotel has outdoors bar, which was active till approx. 1:30 a.m., and it seems that hotel management really does not care about the guests in the rooms, who are trying to sleep. Music was extremely loud, and no one reacted from the hotel side when I asked them to turn it off. Additionally, shower in one of our rooms was making puddles in the whole bathroom, because probably it was not sealed properly.
Generally, this was probably the worst experience in my life about the hotel which has 5-star rating. Unprecedented poor service for a very expensive price.
We visited in September and were extremely displeased with the services, especially considering the prices we paid. Our guide, unfortunately, did not live up to our expectations, which further impacted our experience. Out of the three restaurants recommended to us, two seemed catered more towards tourists rather than offering authentic experiences, and the quality of the food was underwhelming. Our requests didn't seem to be prioritized as we'd hoped. We expected a more tailored and quality experience.
TOTAL SCAM!!! OVERPRICED!
This hotel is not 5 star, would be lucky to even have a 1 star!
They do not offer any 5 star hotel amenities, you can hear the people staying on top of you as if they are walking inside your room.
The have these “Luxury Apartments” side that do not have any room service and no connection to the hotel itself however sold under the same name.
The room smelt very bad, very out dated and air conditioning had dust build up on the vents from what looked like had been there for years.
Don’t fall for the Michelin star restaurant either that’s a total scam also and WAYYY overpriced!
A spectacular hotel with a breathtaking view of the Colosseum. The restaurant, Aroma, is Michelin starred and an experience all itself. The outdoor bar is mesmerizing as well. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. The room amenities are top notch. The head cushion if the bathtub is a nice touch!
I highly recommend making a reservation for breakfast at Aroma if you’re unable to get in for dinner. The view is simply amazing! Overall, I think the hotel is in a great location and would recommend it. However, we chose to stay in the apartment which I wouldn’t recommend. It was hard to get service when needed and it’s about 400m away from the hotel in a residential area and secluded area so you forgo the luxury hotel feel.
Palazzo Manfredi is an amazing hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 days over a week ago and had the most amazing experience here. Our hotel room was beautiful and the view of the colosseum was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were amazing and will go out of their way to make your stay here great. Especially Lorenzo! He was so kind to us and helpful with anything we needed. He should definitely be recognized for his amazing customer service and kindness. The complementary breakfast was spectacular it included free cappuccinos coffee and champagne, the food was amazing as well. Staying here was one of the highlights of visiting Rome. We will definitely come back here to stay when we visit Rome again!!
